#chronischMensch event to raise awareness for chronic diseases

On September 19, 2023, we hosted a press event for our new health platform apo.com, which focuses on the healthcare of people with chronic diseases. The occasion for the event was the upcoming launch of our campaign #chronischMensch, which puts chronically ill people at the center. As a dedicated healthcare provider, we aim to give people with chronic illnesses a stronger voice and stimulate dialogue to enhance their healthcare and quality of life.

Onstage, in addition to patients, our business partners and pharmaceutical experts also had their say. The presentations and discussions primarily revolved around what it means to be chronically ill, the challenges a diagnosis brings to everyday life, and how cooperation and digital solutions can improve healthcare for those with chronic illnesses.

The event was hosted by sports presenter Anna Kraft, who is not only known as the “fastest presenter in German television” but also a multiple sclerosis patient herself. This brought not only professional expertise but also deep empathy for the challenges faced by people with chronic conditions to the stage.
