Cooperation for animal health: apo.com Group and Fressnapf launch online shop for OTC veterinary medicines

Assortment of medicines: over 50 products for dogs and cats against parasites at launch

Efficient processing: apo.com Group takes over order processing, fast delivery, customer service with pharmaceutical advice

The online pharmacy group apo.com Group and Fressnapf are offering a joint online shop for OTC veterinary medicines. Customers can now order these via https://apo.fressnapf.de/. Both companies see great potential in the collaboration. The apo.com Group is making it possible for dog and cat owners to obtain their medication anywhere and at any time, thereby expanding its customer base. As part of the collaboration, Fressnapf is supplementing its existing omnichannel offering and its in-house digital veterinary service “Dr. Fressnapf” with seamlessly connected access to pharmacy-only medicines.

“Our marketing activities have so far concentrated on human health. With this cooperation, we are now focusing on our four-legged friends in response to increasing demand,” explains Dr. Oliver Scheel, CEO of the apo.com Group. “Together with Fressnapf, an established brand in pet care, we are reaching a large community of animal lovers and can close a supply gap that also offers us considerable growth potential.”

The online store focuses primarily on veterinary medicines for dogs and cats, particularly against parasites such as ticks and fleas. With over 50 products from well-known brands such as Frontline and Seresto from the renowned European manufacturers Boehringer and Elanco, the store offers everything a pet’s heart desires.

As part of the partnership, the apo.com Group will handle the entire order processing via its online pharmacy brand apodiscounter. With the help of its highly automated logistics and pharmaceutical expertise, the apo.com Group ensures fast delivery of the high-quality products. Customer service with a pharmaceutical team is available from Monday to Saturday by telephone and e-mail to answer questions about the products and guarantee a straightforward shopping experience.

“The cooperation is a useful addition to our existing services,” adds Dr. Jens Pippig, Member of the Management Board at Fressnapf. “Together with the apo.com Group, we can now offer a wider range of veterinary medicines and thus improve the customer experience for our omnichannel customers.”
